Any BDB customer who has a current account with the bank can register for Tijara Digital Banking.
Below are some of the main services you can do with tijara digital banking:
• View Account Balance
• View details of accounts
• View transaction details
• Download statements
• Transfer funds to own accounts and within BDB account
• Transfer funds to other Bank accounts – Fawri/Fawri+
• Transfer funds to international bank accounts - SWIFT
• Add and modify beneficiaries
• Fawateer inquiries and payments (Bill payments)
• Choose your language preference (English/Arabic)
• Generate account reports
• Service requests
This service is currently offered to you free of charge.
For a single user access there is only one role where you can do everything as you would in your retail banking applications.
For Multiuser access we offer the following roles:
Poster (Mandatory): The poster is the user who will initiate transactions on behalf of the company. The poster will also have access to view all accounts, balances and statements. Note: If you set a minimum limit for the approver the poster’s transactions below that limit will not require an approver.
Approver (Mandatory): The approver is the user who will approve transactions on behalf of the company based on the limits authority set for them.
Inquirer (Optional): The inquirer is the user who will be able to view the accounts, balances and statements of the company. This user will not be able to initiate any transactions on behalf of the company.
Checker (Optional): The checker is the user who will be able to review transactions of the company initiated by the Poster. They will be able to either reject the transactions or submit them to the Approver. (Essentially this is the same as the approver role but with the authority limits setup in such a way that it will need to be approved by another user; in this context it is important to note that if you setup a minimum limit for an approver above that of the checker the checker will be authorized to approve all amounts below that limit)
Tijara Digital Banking service is highly secure. BDB have built layers of security to safeguard your digital banking transactions including two factor authentication, password encryption etc..
Two factor authentication is an additional layer of security that aims to reduce risk of fraud or misuse of the Digital Banking by unauthorized persons. It does this by checking something you know, for example your password and something you possess i.e. your mobile phone by sending an OTP to you.
In case you have forgotten your Login username, you can receive it on your registered email ID using the Forgot Username option available on the Login page.
In case you have forgotten your Login Password, you can receive it on your registered email ID using the Forgot Password option available on the Login page.
You can be locked out on the Tijara Digital Banking due to exceeding the accepted number of invalid attempts for login. To unlock your account, contact BDB call center on 17511111 for assistance or wait for 30 minutes and your account will be unlocked for you to login again using your existing Login Username and Password.
In case you need to change your mobile number, you will need to submit a request letter at your nearest branch.
You should immediately change the password of your account and contact BDB call center on 17511111 to report the issue.
You can add a beneficiary from the Add Beneficiary menu in the Payments & Transfers Module.
To register a beneficiary:
1. Log on to the Tijara Digital Banking using your Username and Password.
2. Select the Payments and Transfer > Beneficiary Management > Add Beneficiary.
3. Provide the required details of the Beneficiary and submit.
4. If you are a Corporate Customer with Multiple User for approval, let the Approver login and approve the beneficiary added from the Authorisation queue Module > Non-Financial menu.
5. Beneficiary will be added successfully.

The rate of interest is determined by whether the BDB account is used as the main operation account for a business which may be amended from time to time in the Bank's sole discretion. For those who make the BDB account their primary bank account, interest rates are highly competitive.
Yes, BDB accounts can be used in conjunction with benefit’s suite of payment systems (Fawri etc).

To open a tijara current account you will need to provide a valid shareholder ID(CPR) and a valid commercial registration number to support the account opening process.
Tijara’s online account opening is available for BDB’s existing and non-existing clients of which both will undergo the standard application process.
Tijara account minimum balance requirement is BHD 50
Buyers: organisations who are longstanding financially strong entities that can lend their credit worthiness as part of the financing arrangement. Sellers: SMEs providing services to Buyers registered to BDB’s Invoice Discounting scheme.
The bank works directly with Buyers, without the need to onboard Sellers as BDB customers.
Buyers will be able to improve their supplier relationships and seamlessly receive their required services with flexible timelines for repaying the bank. Sellers will be able to receive their payments from Buyers faster and prevent cash flow management issues from disrupting their everyday business operations.
There is no specific capped amount per supplier invoice. However, we do assign a certain limit for each Buyer, which will be the maximum amount they can utilise for invoice payments.

There are no registration or processing fees for the scheme.
